To give you an idea..

I support people experiencing stress, overwhelm, or health‑related challenges to understand their bodies, build resilience in their nervous system, and develop evidence‑informed skills to take home to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

I work with individuals and small groups, whose physical or emotional symptoms have left them feeling disconnected or down. The transformation we co-create is a shift from symptom‑focused coping to whole‑person, sustainable wellbeing.

Offering tools such as gentle movement, breath training, mindfulness and concentration training, self-reflection, emotional regulation and relaxation in a safe, therapeutic setting. All practises are grounded in neuroscience and physiology and offered with compassionate, client‑centred care.

Frequently asked questions

Yoga therapy works through the body, breath, and nervous system, using movement, breathwork, relaxation, and mind–body practices to shift physiological (body based) states that underpin how we think and feel. Talking therapy works mainly through conversation, reflection, and psychological insight.

Yoga therapy doesn’t diagnose or replace psychotherapy, but it can support psychological change by improving regulation, strengthening interoception, and creating the conditions for clearer thinking, emotional steadiness, and behavioural change. Many people find it complements talking therapy by helping them feel different, not just think differently.

However, Yoga therapy includes space for discussion and inquiry, helping you notice what is showing up in your body and mind in the present moment. Inquiry is used to explore new ways of relating to current experiences, rather than analysing the past. While psychotherapy may explore past events and narratives in depth, yoga therapy stays rooted in present‑moment awareness and physiological regulation.

No way, we start where you are, and sometimes we don't even do "yoga". There are so many ways to work together and you can sit in a chair or lie down for the whole session if that is what you need.

During a Bodymind Therapeutic session we work with all layers of the person, this is called the Bio-psycho-social approach to wellbeing, or the Kosha Model. This means we work with body, breath, energy, mind, beliefs, intuition and connection to peace. Tools can involve goal setting and motivation techniques, breath/balance/range of movement assessments, gentle mindful movement, breathing training and practices, resting, guided meditation, concentration practices, attention practices, mindfulness training, self-study, philosophical reflection, journalling, sounds, visualisation, relaxation to name a few...
